Scion revealed the suggested retail price for the new 2008 XD model. It is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence that can deliver 128 horsepower and 125 lb. ft. of torque. The power is being sent to the wheels through a five-speed manual transmission or through a four-speed automatic one.
On the inside it features an instrument panel located directly in front of the driver. The model was design to offer convenience, utility and comfort. It features a Pioneer audio system that is able of delivering 160-watt as standard. It seems that more than 40 Scion Genuine and TRD accessories will be available at launch for XD. This package is a very good one as it creates a balance between fuel economy and performance. The XD models with a manual transmission cost $ 14.550 and the ones with an automatic one, $ 15.350.

Scion had revealed the xD model in 2007. On the outside it features gunmetal gray paint, black front bumper paint accents, black-chromed finished Scion emblems, Five Axis lip spoiler kit, on the front, rear and also on the sides and speedster aluminum side mirrors.
This is not all. It also has removed upper portion of rear hatch, welded lower portion of rear hatch, custom beech-wood rear hatch cover and also graphics by Fast signs Seattle.
On the inside it has specially made and stitched diamond-tucked black leather for the front and rear seats, hand-carved beech-wood door trim panels, hand-carved beech-wood center console panels and TRD aluminum sport pedals.
